Judging Criteria for 2010-2011
|
Private Interview (125 total pts)
Delegates
participates in an individual 10-minute press conference-style interview
with a panel of judges. Attire:
Business Suit . No pants suit. Will be judged on eloquence of
communication, courage of conviction, first impression,
confidence. |
Introduction/Modeling (50 total pts)
Each delegate will model an outfit of her
choosing. No jeans or glitzy attire for this competition. Comfort in
modeling, stage presence, style and confidence. Introduce self by greeting the guests, judges, and audience. |
| Lifestyle & Fitness In Swimsuit (75 total
pts)

No thongs or string bikini allowed. No nylons permitted. Delegate must have a
matching wraparound. Judges will be looking for physical fitness,
confidence, beauty of face and figure, and stage presence. Swimsuits must be approved
prior to competition by the Executive Director of the pageant. |
Talent (75 total pts)
Delegates
perform a 2 - 3 minute routine of their own choosing. Some possible talents
may include all types of singing, dancing, gymnastics, instrumental music,
dramatic or comedy monologues (Belizean dialogue such as Creole,
Garifuna, Spanish highly recommended). Will be judged on
originality, creativeness, and stage presence |

Evening Wear (100 total pts)
Long formal wear, any style or color. Appropriateness of evening
attire. Will be judged on grace, poise, elegance, stage
presence, confidence, and sense of attractiveness. |
On-Stage Question (75 total pts)
Questions will be of a general nature. The objective is to evaluate the contestant's ability
to think on her feet and answer a question of general interest. |
