The purpose of the Miss Belize California Beauty Pageant is to give an opportunity to young women in California to dedicate their time in promoting Belize Cultural Heritage, International Cultural Awareness, and Community Significance. This event provides the outstanding young American-Belizean, "The Stars of Tomorrow", with the rare opportunity to show their virtues with cultural pride, leadership, and confidence to succeed in a culture-blended society.  It also creates and maintain a system of competition, which will enhance career opportunities and produce role models representing positive, wholesome Belizean values.  The pageant goal is to allow participants opportunities to gain additional life experience, enhance personal and professional skills and develop performance-related and other talents.

This event utilizes the Miss Belize California name to promote issues of concern to Belizean women throughout the state of California, the USA and the country of Belize.  It encourages and promotes the role of women in all aspects of our society, while providing a deterrent for young women in the state of California with a positive alternative to the many destructive activities that lure our young ladies today.  The competition promotes involvement of contestants and title-holders in community service programs and charities.
